17.9 Different Spans Of Memories


Parent/child bonds must be based on some sort of memory. "I suspect that attachment-bonds involve memory-records of a type that can be rapidly formed but them become peculiarly slow to change." Here, Minsky relates this kind of memory to a range of different phenomena. (NB: Different spans of memory can also be realted to earlier notion of different time-lines of experience or agents.)
